Just got back from vacation in Lancaster, PA, and I have to say it is a must !. I loved it , had a great time with my 3yr old and husband . There is literally so much to do , I had no idea. First let me recommend Willow Valley resort. They have an indoor " waterpark" that is cute for smaller kids. It has a froggy slide and rainbow water sprinkler and palm tree sprinkler. They also have a big water slide for adults.  They have a  few indoor pools, an outdoor, great buffet food place, a bakery on site, they have a golf course, playground, barn, and corn maze on site as well. We went to Cherry Crest farm, which is a huge interactive corn maze, and plenty and I mean plenty of other activities to do as well. We also ate dinner with an amish family which was truly an amazing experience. We went to the Choo Choo Barn, my 3yr old got bored quickly , but my husband and I really thought it was fascinating. We also took a buggy ride which was fun. Then we stayed at a farm for a few days and my son had the chance to milk a cow, bottle fed a baby calf, and collect eggs. They made us a homemade, from scratch breakfast, and served us raw milk from a cow they had just milked two hours early and made us an egg casserole dish from the eggs they collected, and made us fresh handmade yogurt from the milk from the cows. It was a unforgettable trip and one I am already starting to plan for next spring!

I have to write a warning , especially this time of year. I was about to take a shower the other day and I looked down at my belly and saw a tiny black speck. I went to take it off and it didn't move, after a closer look I discovered that it was a TICK!!! I called for my husband to get the tweezers and he tried to pull it off and you could see that its stinger was stuck in me, just thinking about it makes me want to faint!. So now next week I have to go get checked for Lyme disease, so I'll let you know the results. Ironically I had Lyme disease when I was 12 , they found out because in that year I lost a lot of weight and then eventually fainted in the bathroom so that's when they found out. This is tick season so keep a close eye on your kids and make sure they have repellent on for outdoors, I brought my son the one from avon with the spf 30 and insect repellent in it . Be safe
